The group will perform at Cine Joia, in São Paulo, on September 8th. The next day, they participate in the music festival. Yeah Yeah Yeahs were announced as headliners for The Town following the cancellation of Queens of the Stone. The band will play on the same stage (Skyline) and time (8:25 pm) as the Americans would perform. “We’re coming to Brazil. Since this dream came at the last minute, we’re excited to have booked a gig at Cine Joia before joining Foo Fighters and Garbage at The Town. We can’t wait to see you guys,” the group wrote in the social media. Tickets are now available for sale and cost R$360 (half price R$180). The presentation is scheduled to start at 10 pm. Formed in the early 2000s, the trio owns the hit “Heads Will Roll”. It will be the group’s third time in Brazil.
