Model Yasmin Brunet used social media to talk about her relationship with Carnival and her desire to parade again, even after the controversy surrounding Grande Rio.
Responding to a follower’s question about the next parade, she spoke about her mother’s relationship with Carnival and revealed that she had always dreamed of it.
“Despite this horrible situation, it’s still a dream of mine. My mother is one of the great icons of Carnival and I’ve always accompanied her. I’ve had this dream since I was a little girl… more”, published Yasmin.

The model also shared the backstage of the parade and said that she used mega hair on the occasion. “I wanted my hair to be fuller and longer to almost cover my butt,” she revealed.
The model’s name on the social network is now accompanied by a “XXXX” after the fight with the samba school for which Yasmin paraded.

Yasmin Brunet’s absence from the Parade of Champions was announced by Thainá Oliveira, daughter of Helinho Oliveira, who used social media to give her opinion on Yasmin’s performance as a muse.
“Look, these ‘celebrities’ don’t give a real and they still want to complain. We really have to laugh! I’m glad the pretty one was cut and next year she won’t even come by plane. Go in peace, boring”, shot Thainá on Twitter, without mentioning Yasmin.
Thainá continued the outburst: “So, a given horse is not looked at with teeth. The pretty one was invited and still wants to go out talking badly. She upset everyone from the first moment! And now, she was cut and she doesn’t even come to the Champions.”
Then, a follower questioned whether she was referring to Gabriela Versiani, who debuted this year as the school’s muse: “No. Versiane was ‘top'”. Thainá ended the sequence of comments on the social network with the tweet of the letter “Y”, with an eye emoji.
Hours later, the model also told her version on social media. “I wanted to make it clear that I love the Grande Rio samba school and the community of Caxias, which received me with great affection. I am very grateful, from the heart. Regardless of what some people are doing to me, my affection will be with the community, always”, began the muse.
Yasmin continued the speech saying that she was moved from the ground, as a highlight, to the car: “I was going to be highlighted on the ground and, out of nowhere, they changed me to go in the car. My costume was different and, when they changed me from place, they changed the costume too. I did go to the Center [do Rio de Janeiro] two days before the show I bought crystals, because I was told they didn’t have ‘quality crystals’ to make the panties. I did it with an open heart because I wanted to. I wanted the costume to look beautiful because it would represent the school.”
The model even spoke about her delay for the official school parade in Sapucaí. “I was not late for the parade as they are saying. I arrived hours in advance. Unfortunately, my panties were not ready when I arrived. They did not have the clasp and the props were still sewn”, she detailed.
Afterwards, Thainá posted a video on social media responding to Yasmin Brunet’s lines: “On the day of the Grande Rio parade, she was the last person to arrive at the rally. She made a scene in the dressing room. She humiliated the people who were working and helping her wearing the costume. She said that what mattered to her was her costume. And respect fits anywhere. And she was respected at Grande Rio at all times”.
The daughter of the president of the samba school also commented on the model’s speech about having paid for the costume she wore in the parade: “Grande Rio pays for everyone’s costume. Anyone who comes up to you and says that they paid for a costume in Grande Rio it’s a lie”.
