‘We have to be less omissive’

The arrival of the turbo week on ‘BBB 23’ caused changes in the game. The unexpected formation of a wall culminated in Gustavo’s elimination last Saturday, the 25th. Decided by the public before the beginning of the reality, the choice of his partner was decisive from the beginning to the end of his trajectory. The connection with Key Alves went beyond the first week and became not only a love relationship, but a two-way game that lasted for 40 days. In the program, the farmer and businessman claims to have followed the same line he keeps out of confinement by opting for a conduct without direct conflicts. The tests were high points: he won two consecutive leaderships and, thus, took advantage of the privileges of the leader’s central. “From zero to one hundred”, it was, in a single day, from leadership to the wall and back to leadership.

At the BBB, the Mato Grosso native found himself in the spotlight alongside Fred Nicácio and Domitila Barros and, to the surprise of most participants, he was eliminated with 71.78% of the votes. The ex-brother considers having been lost in game due to internal perspectives, but even so, he considers having played a good game: “I was very competitive in the competitions, as I had already said I would be; I went to play. Brazil was watching everything that was happening, but I think that overall it was a good participation”.

What lessons do you take from this experience?

I learned that sometimes we have to be less silent, we have to impose ourselves more in certain situations. We also have to be careful not to misunderstand things. Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s good to recognize our mistake and apologize for it. I didn’t go in there to hurt or hurt anyone. The program was good for maturing the ideas and seeing that the game that people watch is not easy, it is very difficult at home. So, I learned a lot of positive things with the BBB.

Despite being part of a group, you and Key Alves had a strong connection and ended up playing as a duo. Do you believe you followed the best strategy?

We ended up walking in together and there was that connection that everybody saw. Some pairs worked and some didn’t. As we had a rapport, we wanted to share the game with each other. in relation to game, to a certain extent it was cool, although we ended up not realizing some things. It was good that we trusted each other. We end up getting attached so as not to be alone. Still, we didn’t live 24 hours together. Sometimes she would talk to someone and I would talk to other people.

On the show, you and Key even considered marriage. Can “Guskey” fans expect a relationship after the BBB?

I think you have to give it time, wait for her to leave the house. When it’s time for her to leave, we’ll talk. Let’s exchange an idea out here and see what will happen from now on.
