It’s not the same thing as listening to members of organized supporters to solve the problem that has traumatized society and football for four decades, although there are those who should be banned from going to stadiums and giving interviews around.

Violence between fans is a subject that is more than studied in Brazil and in the world.

In the same way that Great Britain produced the Taylor Report, in 1990, to minimize, even with elitist errors, the issue of hooligans, in Brazil the Klein Report was produced, in 2006, which until today lives in some drawer in Brasília.

There are countless books, researches, seminars prepared by universities here and abroad.

With no intention of exhausting the subject, nor of being fully updated, and at the risk of forgetting important authors, the rare reader should seek out the works of professors Bernardo Buarque de Hollanda, Maurício Murad, Ronaldo Helal, as well as the Professor Heloísa Baldy dos Reis, among others.

Google it, as they say, and see how many good ideas there are on the subject, try to see how profound the Klein Report is and how it presents feasible solutions, realize how what is lacking is political will and rolling up your sleeves to, with education, prevention and punishment, forward peace in the stadiums and surroundings.

Among so many foreign books, there is a classic, to portray the phenomenon among young people, which deals with “combat adrenaline”, written by the American journalist Bill Buford, “Entre os Vândalos”, by Companhia das Letras, which you read as if it were a triller and is convinced that he is dealing with something far beyond mere police matter.
