Erasmo Carlos, who died in November at the age of 81, left no will. Through a legal agreement, made between the singer’s children – the artist’s only direct heirs -, the widow Fernanda Passos, 32 years old, will be appointed as the administrator of the inheritance, valued at around R$ 25 million.

The pedagogue was 28 years old when she married the singer, in January 2019, being 49 years younger than him. The two maintained a relationship for 12 years and were married with total separation of property. That is, Fernanda would not be entitled to anything from her husband’s fortune, since the law does not allow marriages with community property for people over 70 years old.

Two months after the singer’s death, his two sons, Leonado and Gil Esteves, asked for the opening of the inventory at the 11th Rod of Orphans and Successions of the District of the Capital, in Rio, where the process is ongoing.

In the document obtained by Notícias da TV, the lawyers reported that the children reached a consensus for the widow to manage everything that Erasmo had.

“Erasmo has assets to be shared, but he did not leave a will. As the surviving spouse, Fernanda will provide the commitment to carry out the function of executor of the estate”, informs an excerpt of the document.

The children Gil and Leonardo Esteves are the result of the relationship that Erasmo had with landscaper Sandra Sayonara, known as Narinha, who died in 1995. During the period they were together, the couple had another son, Carlos Alexandre, who died after a motorcycle accident in 2014.

Widow told how she met Erasmo

In an interview with the Bial program in 2019, Fernanda Passos said that she was an old fan of the singer and that she was the one who took the first step in the relationship: “I was the one who conquered him. I’ve had it in my head that I’ve liked him since I was 5 years old. When I first met him, I looked at him and said I needed to say something: ‘I love you’. And he said, ‘Oh, I started to love you now’”.

In an interview with EXTRA in 2020, Tremendão spoke of criticism regarding the 49-year age difference between them.

“I take it out on my income tax. I still don’t make my private life public and I smile normally when asked. I never get irritated with these things. We are vaccinated against it”, he said at the time.
