Left-back Ely, 21, is no longer a player at Clube do Remo. Little used in the last matches, the athlete revealed by the blue base divisions had his contract terminated and the document already appears in the CBF Daily Newsletter. The player is now free on the market to settle with another team.
The announcement of the end of the bond with Leão Azul was made by the player himself, through publication on his social networks.
In the text of the post, Ely informs that his time at the club had ended “after 4 years of many victories, defeats and a lot of learning”, and thanked “all the people who helped me during this period”.
“Today ends my time at Clube do Remo, it was 4 years of many victories, defeats and a lot of learning. I thank all the people who helped me during this period, very happy for what I experienced at the club, I wish Remo all the luck in the world and that they get access, let’s go in search of new airs! I can do everything through Him who strengthens me”, says the text of the post on the athlete’s Instagram profile.
As an athlete from the remista base, Ely won the title of the Paraense Championship in the Under-20 category and participated in the best campaign in the history of Remo in the 2023 São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, being one of the highlights of the team.
However, upon joining the professional squad, at the request of coach Marcelo Cabo, Ely was only able to play professionally for the club on three occasions, all in matches valid for the Campeonato Paraense this year.
