Manaus (AM) – Governor Wilson Lima (União Brasil) met, yesterday (5), with mayors of 35 municipalities in the interior of Amazonas. The group reinforced Wilson Lima’s political alignment and leadership. This was the first meeting attended by all allies who supported the reelection of the governor, after the 2022 elections.
Wilson Lima heard the demands of the mayors and thanked the trust that the heads of municipal executives in the interior have in the management of the State. He also reinforced the commitment to assist city halls wherever possible.
“I want to thank the mayors for the partnership, say that I understand the challenge that each one has in their municipality and here I record my commitment to continue working so that we understand how the State can help each city and its citizens”,
highlighted.
The governor also reaffirmed the commitment to invest in the municipalities of the interior, especially in health, and also highlighted the implementation of the Ecological Economic Zoning of Amazonas (ZEE/AM), which will identify potentialities for socioeconomic development with environmental protection of the state, mainly inland.
