FIFA authorizes the sale of service packages in Brazil at prices that reach R$ 1,276 per game
For the first time, FIFA released the sale of hospitality packages in Brazil for fans interested in attending the Women’s World Cup. The event takes place in Australia and New Zealand between late July and early August.
Sales of combos (ticket, transport, food and cabins), however, face great difficulties. The ticket alone costs R$ 12,000. In addition, there is also the exchange variation that erodes the reais in the fans’ pockets.
Momê was the company selected to receive, of course, these packages in Brazil. It offers food services, preferential access, privileged seats during matches and other benefits.
According to the company, three packages are available for fans: a basic plan for individual seats; a shared lounge; and a cabin with capacity from 12 people, aimed at companies.
Prices vary between 290 Australian dollars (around R$ 925) in the most basic package and 400 Australian dollars (R$ 1,276) in the shared lounge. In the case of the cabin, the larger the space and the more people are in the planning, the more expensive it is.
“We can agree that the dollar is not at an inviting level, but what most impacts the fan’s decision are air tickets, whose prices start at R$ 12,000. However, we are optimistic and there is a lot of demand”, said Marcello Cordeiro
an executive at Momê.
The three games of the Brazilian selection in the first phase will be held in Australia. On the 23rd, the team plays a match against Panama, in Adelaide, on the 29th, it’s France’s turn, in Brisbane, and on August 2nd, Brazil faces Jamaica, in Melbourne.
