Waldez announces investment of BRL 31.9 million for asphalt paving and productive development in Amapá – News of Brazil

The minister of integration and regional development, Waldez Góes, announces, this Monday, the 17th, more than R$ 31.9 million in investments in family farming and paving in the state of Amapá.
At 8:30 am, the minister participates in the inauguration of the new provisional headquarters of the 11th Regional Superintendence of the Company for the Development of the São Francisco and Parnaíba Valleys (Codevasf). On the occasion, technical cooperation agreements will also be signed with the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and with the State Transport Secretariat.
Then, at 9:30 am, at the Fazendinha Exhibition Park, in Macapá, there will be a ceremony to donate equipment purchased with amendments destined by Senator Davi Alcolumbre to Codevasf, with five motor graders, in the total amount of R$ 4.2 million. Codevasf will also donate 50 pick-up vehicles to promote activities aimed mainly at the family farming sector, with an investment of 12.4 million. In addition, 2,500 sterndrive engines will be donated, with a total resource of R$ 2.8 million.
13 municipalities will benefit. They are: Amapá, Calçoene, Cutias do Araguari, Ferreira Gomes, Itaubal do Pirirm, Laranjal do Jari, Mazagão, Pedra Branca do Amapari, Porto Grande, Pracuuba, Santana, Tartarugalzinho and Vitória do Jari. Embrapa will also benefit.
Paving
Also in Macapá, the Service Order (OS) for Line B will be signed, with a length of 2.2 km, worth R$ 2 million for asphalt paving. On Line C, the OS will be in the amount of R$ 3.3 million to carry out the same action. The highway is 3.6 kilometers long. For the same purpose, but on Line F, with a length of 3.7 kilometers, an investment of R$ 3.4 million will be made possible.
Finally, at 3 pm, the Service Order will be signed for asphalt paving, with an extension of four kilometers, in the Clevelândia do Norte district, in the municipality of Oiapoque, with investment made by the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development (MIDR), in the amount of R$ 3.68 million.
