Vitor Petrino promises show on his UFC debut

“If you like to see big fights, get ready for the 11th of March”, was what fighter Vitor Petrino said. Born in Minas Gerais, the athlete will make his debut in the biggest MMA event in the world against the Swedish Anton Turkalj, in Las Vegas, in the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg).

“Anton is a very tough guy, very complete, it’s hard to know what he wants to look for. I know it’s going to be a war, but I’m ready for anything. Let him wait for me”, said the CMSystem athlete.

Even though it’s his first appearance in the UFC, Petrino doesn’t mind changing his fighting style, and he warns that he’s going to hit both feet in the door, showing his aggressive and, at the same time, technical style.

“You can be sure that the show is guaranteed”, completed the fighter.

The Brazilian is undefeated in MMA, with seven wins in seven fights, including six knockouts. Definer, he understands that leaving the decision to the referees is not an option:

“I never liked leaving the fight to the judges, I’m an aggressive guy and I know how to take advantage of the situation”.

Coming from a city 26 kilometers from Belo Horizonte, Vitor has always been attracted to martial arts, whether watching movies or cartoons. Until one day he got to know a fight academy and his life changed completely. Therefore, March 11th will become special.

“I’m very excited, anxious to show my potential; but at the same time I’m calm, because I trust my team, my coaches and my training partners a lot”, he highlighted.
