Just as millions of foreign tourists visit Pelourinho, in Salvador, the remaining areas of Quilombo do Amapá can perfectly have an increase in the quality of life of their residents if they have implanted sustainability concepts of openness to the productive chain of tourism.
The Extraordinary Secretariat for Policies for Afro-descendants (Seafro), an agency of the Government of Amapá, started a project for an official diagnosis of the quilombola communities of Amapá, which could boost this enormous vocation.

Through field work (research), the objective is to survey the conditions in which the residents of these regions live and also talk to leaders and residents, to point out the needs in sectors such as health, education, transport, communication, public safety, among others.

Structure – In the actions we develop, we already have an idea of what they need in structural terms. However, the idea is to prepare an official study of the conditions in which the residents of these places live, in order to have more dynamism and speed in the elaboration of affirmative actions and public policies for them.
