Vini Jr. is out of Brazil’s debut in the qualifiers

Real Madrid detailed the striker’s injury; cut has not yet been announced by the CBF
Real Madrid confirmed, this Monday (28), that Vinicius Jr. suffered an injury to the right biceps femoris muscle in the match against Celta de Vigo, last Friday, valid for LALIGA.
Recovery time usually varies between four and six weeks, depending on the case. As Vini Jr. had never suffered a more serious muscle injury, the Spanish team is confident of a good evolution.
In any case, there will be no time for the attacker to recover in time for the next FIFA Date. With that, Vini Jr. will miss the Brazilian National Team in the debut games of interim coach Fernando Diniz.
Brazil faces Bolivia, on September 8, and Peru, four days later, for the first rounds of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
The cut has not yet been confirmed by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), much less a possible replacement for Vini Jr. on Diniz’s list.
