Vina is presented at Grêmio and talks about his desire to work with Portaluppi

The 11th reinforcement of the season was only officially presented this Wednesday (16). Vina spoke at a press conference about her desire to play for Grêmio and her expectations for the 2023 season. “The interest was mutual, on both sides. right, I chose to be here. I always liked the style in which Grêmio plays and it was a desire of my career to work with Renato”.

Attacking midfielder Vina was hired on loan to reinforce Grêmio in 2023. The 31-year-old athlete will receive a salary of around R$300,000 and will stay at Tricolor until the end of the season. Coming from Ceará, he already trains with the rest of the group at CT Luiz Carvalho.

When asked about his positioning, since Tricolor has many players in the midfield, Vina spoke about his versatility. “Players have to play several positions and I’m adapted. I’m a former number 10, but I also do the sides and I’ve already done the nine position. In the way that Renato thinks I can add to the team, I’ll make my effort to to understand.”

The attacking midfielder also commented on the lessons learned from other clubs. “I’m a more mature, more experienced player to wear this shirt. I had two opportunities to wear the Grêmio shirt and it didn’t work out. If God allowed me to be here, I’ll make the best of it.”

Vina concluded by stating that she will represent the fans within the four lines. “I think that for all the clubs I’ve been to, I have identification. I give myself away, I wear the shirt. I know how Rio Grande do Sul fans are, I come with the spirit of representing the fans on the field”.

Vina stands out for having a good vision of the game, a pass that breaks the lines and finishing from outside the area. Despite playing in the middle court, he is quite offensive and participatory in attacking moves. In his best phase in Ceará, he scored 46 goals and provided 39 assists in 168 games. The attacking midfielder is expected to debut in the next match, against São Luiz, on Saturday, for the 8th round of the Campeonato Gaúcho. Portaluppi will preserve a good part of the main cast in Ijuí, giving the group more shooting and testing new parts for the rest of the season.
