Vila Olímpica hosts 3rd Indoor Stage of the Brazilian Multi Site Archery Championship

Manaus (AM) – The Vila Olímpica de Manaus will host, this Sunday (4), at 7 am, the 3rd Indoor Stage of the Brazilian Multi Site Archery Championship. With support from the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), the competition aims to qualify athletes for national championships.

“We have great athletes in Archery who represent Amazonas in competitions throughout Brazil, our mission is to strengthen more and more competitions like these so that new talents are discovered”,

said Jorge Oliveira, head of Sedel.

The championship organized by the Amazonas Federation of Archery (Fatarco) will be disputed between archers in the Adult Recurve Archery and Compound Archery categories, in male and female suits. Throughout the year, five stages are held to classify the best scores at the end.

“This competition is of paramount importance, as it takes place simultaneously in several Brazilian states, with the best archers in the country. Our intention is to qualify these athletes so that at the end of the stages we have Amazonas in the best ranking of the modality”,

highlighted Carlos Galindo, president of Fatarco.

Athletics

The athletics track at the Vila Olímpica de Manaus will host on Saturday (3), starting at 7 am, the Loterias Caixa de Atletismo Sub-18 Championship.

The dispute is part of the official calendar of the Athletics Sports Federation of the State of Amazonas (Fedaeam) and aims to score in the state ranking, the disputes will be in the 200m dash, 400m dash, triple jump, high jump, shot put and launch of the disc, among others.

motorcycle speed

Shaking up the kart track in the Vila Olímpica de Manaus, on Sunday (4), starting at 4 pm, the 5th stage of the Amazon Motorcycle Championship will take place, bringing together around 60 riders in search of the best positions on the podium. Organized by Liga Amazonense de Motociclismo (LAM), the competition will be disputed in the categories Motorcycle A and B and Supermoto A and B and free force up to 500 cc.

Self-defense

The Project Forming Champions, linked to the Sport and Leisure Program in the Capital and Interior (Pelci), promotes on Saturday (3), from 9 am, the 1st Female Self Defense Workshop. With lectures and practical activities, the event will be exclusive for Pelci athletes, among the topics addressed are: Methods of Female Self Defense, Techniques for preventing violence against women, Prudence for confronting female violence.

Futsal

At Ginásio Renné Monteiro, on Sunday (4th), starting at 8 am, the second round of the Under-15 Amazon Futsal Championship will take place. The first dispute of the day will be between the teams Instituto São José SC and Grêmio Recanto da Criança, followed by the game between Craques do Futuro/Curumim and Canaã Futsal, the event is organized by the Associação Amazonense de Futebol de Salão (FAFs).

Soccer

At the Ismael Benigno Stadium, the match between Manaus FC and Volta Redonda (RJ) will take place on Saturday (3), at 3 pm. The match is valid for the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C.

For Serie D of the Brazilian Championship, Nacional FC faces São Raimundo (RR), on Sunday (4), at 3 pm, at Estádio Carlos Zamith, for the fifth round of the competition. Tickets for Serie C and D games can be purchased on the day of the match at the stadiums where the games take place.

As for the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Série A2, 3B Sport receives Botafogo at Estádio Carlos Zamith, on Saturday (3), at 3 pm, in a match valid for the quarterfinals of the national competition. The match is free for fans.
