In his victory speech, Popó valued Bambam’s power to publicize the event and fill the house

Sao Paulo-SP) – The former professional boxer, Acelino Popó Freitas, 48, went over the bodybuilder, actor and BBB 1 champion, Kleber Bambam, 46, at Fight Music Show 4, held between Saturday night (24) and early this Sunday (25th) in São Paulo. Popó defeated Bambam with a knockout 36.14 seconds into the fight.

Bambam spent the week saying he was going to shock the world. When he got into the ring, the bodybuilder was accompanied by his doll Maria Eugênia, his partner since the reality show in 2002, and maintained his speech: “I’m going to shock, yes”.

Popó was accompanied to the ring by his wife and nutritionist Emilene Juarez, winner of one of the preliminary fights on the card. The boxer won four world boxing champion belts.

Before the fight, the two fighters did not touch the opponent’s gloves, as is customary in the sport.

“I say with all humility, with all due respect to BamBam, he was responsible for this entire house being full. What he provoked me… He provoked me like: ‘I want to see this Popó take down this guy’. Whoever is here came to see this, not just because of me. He was the guy who did all the marketing, who filled and gave all the audiences”,

said Acelino.
