The day after the sanction of the bill that prohibited the requirement of proof of vaccination against Covid-19 as a condition for access to public and private places in the state of São Paulo, the University of São Paulo (USP) also announced, this Thursday -feira (16), which will no longer demand proof of immunization against the coronavirus from students and public servants.

USP was one of the institutions that demanded a complete vaccination schedule from the entire university community. Those who did not comply with the requirement ended up suffering punishment, such as threats of dismissal and difficulties in graduating.

This Wednesday, the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) also announced that it would no longer require a health passport. The São Paulo State University (Unesp) has not yet taken a position on the repeal of the measure.
