Unicamp applies first phase test; know what to take – 10/28/2023 – Education

The first phase of the Unicamp (Campinas State University) entrance exam will be administered this Sunday (28), starting at 1 pm (Brasília time). In this edition, 64,705 people signed up to compete for 2,537 places in 69 undergraduate courses.
The test will be administered in 31 cities in the state of São Paulo, including the capital. Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza and Salvador also receive the test. The most popular courses in this edition are medicine, architecture and urbanism and computer science.
Comvest (Permanent Committee for Unicamp Entrance Exams), responsible for administering the test, advises candidates to arrive at the test locations at 12pm, as access will close at 1pm. Click here to find out where you will take the test.
The first phase lasts a maximum of five hours. Registrants must answer 72 multiple choice questions, 12 on Portuguese language and literature, 12 on mathematics, 7 on history, 7 on geography, 3 philosophy, 3 sociology, 7 physics, 7 chemistry, 7 biology and 7 of English. Each question has four alternatives and is worth one point.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE UNICAMP ENTRANCE EXAM
Candidates must bring the original identity document indicated in the application, black pens on transparent material, black pencil and eraser. It will also be permitted to use a transparent ruler and compass, as well as to consume water, juices, sweets and light foods.
Cell phones or any other electronic equipment, smartwatches, liquid concealer, mechanical pencil, highlighter pen, cap, hat and other foreign proof materials are prohibited.

UNICAMP 2024 ENTRANCE SCHEDULE
- 1st phase test: Oct 29 (Sunday)
- Announcement of those approved for the 2nd phase: Nov 23; the announcement of the test locations and cutoff scores for the second phase will be on the same day
- 2nd phase tests: 3rd and 4th December (Sunday and Monday)
- Tests of specific skills for architecture and urban planning, performing arts, visual arts and dance courses: 7 to January 9, 2023, depending on the career
