Comvest (Permanent Committee for Entrance Exams at Unicamp) brought forward to this Thursday (16) the publication of the list of candidates approved in the first phase of the 2024 entrance exam at Unicamp (State University of Campinas), which occupies the second position in the RUF ( Folha University Ranking).
The test was held on October 29th and the result would be announced on November 23rd, but is now available on the Comvest page.
It is possible to search by registration number, by the participant’s name or by the initial letter of the name.
Of the 60,241 candidates who took the first test, 13,447 were called for the second phase, which will be held on December 3rd and 4th. The locations will be announced on the Comvest website on November 23rd.
The Unicamp 2024 entrance exam offers 2,537 places in 69 undergraduate courses. The university also released this Thursday the candidate-vacancy relationship for the second phase. The most competitive course is medicine, with 11.9 candidates per place, followed by sports science: 10.07.
The second phase consists of tests with essay questions, lasting five hours each day. The tests have a common part for all candidates and a diverse part, according to the area of knowledge of the course chosen in the 1st option (biological sciences/health; exact/technological sciences, human sciences/arts).
Each essay question is worth four points, each containing two items is worth two points. The tests follow the following distribution:
First day – tests common to all candidates
- Writing (consisting of two text proposals for the candidate to choose and execute only one proposal);
- Portuguese language and Portuguese-language literature, with six questions;
- Interdisciplinary test with two English language questions and two interdisciplinary natural science questions.
Second day – tests common to all candidates:
- Mathematics: six questions for courses in the exact sciences/technology areas; four questions for courses in the biological sciences/health areas and four questions for courses in the human sciences/arts areas.
- Interdisciplinary Test: with two interdisciplinary questions from human sciences.
Second day – specific knowledge tests:
- Candidates in the biological sciences/health field: biology test with eight questions; chemistry test, with six questions.
- Candidates in the area of exact/technological sciences: physics test, with six questions; chemistry test, with six questions.
- Candidates in the humanities/arts field: geography test, with six questions; history test, with six questions; philosophy test, with one question; sociology test, with one question.
Specific skills
Specific skills tests for architecture and urban planning, performing arts, visual arts and dance courses will be held between December 7th and 9th, only in Campinas.
Upcoming dates
The first call will be announced on January 29th and those selected must register online (not in person) on January 30th and 31st, via the Comvest website. The other dates are included in the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam calendar, available on the Commission’s website.
