The “Best of the Month” intends to reflect on the growth of the economic sector of Amazonas

Manaus (AM) – To encourage more companies to recognize their talents and, thus, encourage their employees to reach their goals and improve productivity, the Uiara Amazon Resort launches the “Best of the Month” Program.

According to Wander Areosa, CEO of Uiara, the program encourages the development of local companies and will have a direct impact on the growth and strengthening of the economic sector in Amazonas.

“The initiative aims to help companies encourage and recognize the excellence of their employees, through a fair tribute and with great added value. A unique opportunity for exchange between employees from different segments, who will be able to live this moment with a companion, aiming to strengthen family support”,

explained Areosa, who emphasizes that satisfied professionals have a contagious effect, influencing others to also seek and experience this enriching experience.

How it works

The schedule will always be held at the beginning of each month. There will be two days with several inspiring activities in the midst of nature, which include a cycle of motivational lectures, self-knowledge, team management, as well as recreation and Amazonian experiences, from gastronomy, with a cuisine that combines local ingredients with international touches, to a spa with revitalizing and therapeutic services to relax, reflect and “balance”.

For Wander Areosa, the “Best of the Month” program is an incredible opportunity for exchange, appreciation, motivation and professional growth: “The main objective is to recognize and value the most committed employees and provide an excellent service that reflects on their progress and on the development of our region”, he pointed out.

The “Best of the Month” program lasts 12 months and offers only 70 places. It starts in January 2024 with the awards for the best of December 2023. At the end of 2024, a mega party will announce the best of the year who will receive the “Best of the Year 2024” statuette.

Studies prove positive impacts on productivity

Forbes has reported that companies with well-designed recognition programs experience an average return on investment (ROI) of 5 to 10 times the cost of the program.

A study conducted by Gallup revealed that companies with highly engaged employees are 21% more productive and have a significant reduction in turnover rates.

The Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp) found a direct correlation between incentive programs and increased productivity, citing an average 22% increase in productivity at companies that implement these programs.

A survey by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) showed that 55% of employees consider incentive programs to be an important factor in staying in their jobs.

The Work Institute reported that 80% of employees who leave their jobs cite lack of recognition as a top reason for requesting to leave.
