Two more teams changed coaches in the Campeonato Paranaense this week. After Cascavel and Galo Maringá, the Andraus and the San Joseense They changed command at the beginning of the State Championship.
Due to personal problems, Edison Borges handed over his position at Andraus after the victory over Azuriz, on Sunday (28). The experienced Claudemir Sturion, who was at Galo Maringá, took over the club on Tuesday (30) and has already achieved another victory for the Campo Largo team – 1-0 over São Joseense. Sturion, in fact, was the champion coach of the Access Division with Andraus, in 2023.

São Joseense announced the departure of Luciano Gusso after the 1-0 defeat to Andraus, on Tuesday (30). The São Jose dos Pinhais club announced that Ageu Gonçalves will lead the team from now on. The coach from Curitiba has already managed São Joseense in 2017 (with the State Series C title), 2018 and 2020.
New Cascavel coach is introduced
Cascavel, in turn, presented this Wednesday (31) Matheus Costa as new coach. The Serpente had been without a coach since the second round, when they fired Leston Júnior.

Matheus Costa is 37 years old and is a well-known name on the local scene, having already managed Paraná Clube and Operário, for example. The coach was at Ferroviário-CE, leaving his position after two games, with one defeat and one draw. He started his journey against PSTC this Wednesday (31), in the fifth round.
