Twelve football schools participate in the Macapá City Cup – News of Brazil

Last weekend the Macapá City Cup kicked off. The first round took place last Saturday (06), at Arena do Muca and will have its grand final at Estádio Milton de Souza Correa (Zerão), on February 4th. Twelve football schools, representing neighborhoods of the capital and two districts (Fazendinha and Igarapé da Fortaleza), participate in the event.
The second round of the competition takes place this Saturday (13). The first game takes place at 8:30 am, at Arena Pereirão, in Fazendinha, between the teams of Fazendinha FC and Futuros Camisa 10. The second game will be at Arena do Muca, at 4 pm, between Diamantes do Brasil and Pés de Ouro. Finally, at 5pm, the teams from Mara Baixo FC and Atletas do Ajante play, also at the Muca arena.
Around 1,200 people, including athletes, technical staff and management, are involved in this competition, the result of a partnership between the Amapaense Federation of Base Football Schools and the State Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (Sedel).
