Amapá records an increase in the number of professionals in the sector regularized in the Register of Tourist Service Providers (Cadastur). In the first half of this year alone, the rate exceeded more than 20% of the total registrations for 2022. Since January, the Government of Amapá has been serving, guiding and encouraging workers to regularize themselves on the platform.
Cadastur is a national tool that promotes the ordering, formalization and legalization of service providers in Brazil. According to Secretary of Tourism (Setur) Anne Monte, the site also provides tourists with secure search tools for a variety of locations and services, such as hotels, bars and restaurants. “It is a considerable evolution from January until now, achieved by the new Government. In 2022, the data showed 267 registrations throughout the year. This year, there were more than 320 registrations in just a few months”, highlighted the secretary.
Anne Monte also added that the information contained in Cadastur also allows the State Government to develop more effective public policies for the sector.
Tutorial – Registration is free and mandatory for hosting companies; Turism agencies; tourist transport companies; event organizers; Thematic parks; tourist camps and tour guides. To register, go to https://cadastur.Tourism.gov.br/hotsite/#!/public/capa/entrar.
The report from the Amapá Diary also found that when filling out the electronic form and signing the Electronic Term of Responsibility, the result will be available within five days. The document that ensures the regularity of services is valid for two years in the case of legal entities, and five years for tour guides.
