Anderson Torres’ lawyer, Rodrigo Roca, said in an interview with CNN Brasil, this Tuesday (16), that there is no possibility of the former Minister of Justice and former Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District making a plea bargain.

“There is not the slightest possibility of awarding a prize due to the fact that there is nothing to be reported,” he said. According to CNN, the lawyer also said he will not speak out until he has access to the investigation records.

Arrested in Brasilia since Saturday (14), the former minister and former secretary of Public Security of the Federal District Anderson Torres still does not have a date to give his testimony to Justice. The expectation, however, is that this will happen until next Friday (21).

Torres is being held at the 4th Military Police Battalion, in the Guará region, in the Federal District. The arrest of the former minister was determined by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), and endorsed by the plenary of the Court. The request was made by the Federal Police, which saw strong evidence of connivance with those who carried out acts of vandalism in Brasília last Sunday (8).
