“The Little Mermaid” is the attraction of CineMaterna this Tuesday

Manaus (AM) – The film “The Little Mermaid”, a live action remake of the classic Disney cartoon, is the attraction of CineMaterna for the month of June, this Tuesday (20), in the VIP room of the Cinepólis Network of Shopping Ponta Negra, at 2 pm. The first eight people with babies who arrive 30 minutes before the start of the film and seek the coordination of the CineMaterna project get free admission.

CineMaterna is a national project that organizes special movie sessions for mothers, fathers and companions with babies up to 18 months old. The objective is to provide entertainment for this segment of the public, but in an environment specially set up for babies.

The rooms have reduced sound volume during the session; air conditioning temperatures are milder; lighting becomes lighter; and parents have changing tables inside the movie theater, as well as parking for strollers with volunteers to provide support. At the end of the sessions there is also a chat with those present.

The project is carried out once a month and the films of the session are chosen through popular vote on the website.

The manager of Shopping Ponta Negra, Priscila Furtado, explains that CineMaterna reflects the concern of the shopping center in being an out-of-the-ordinary space, with unique services for its customers. “Providing a special day for mothers, fathers and caregivers of babies, who would hardly go to the movies if it weren’t for these conditions, has everything to do with what the mall seeks to serve its audience”, she said.
