Santa Claus Factory, at the Palace of Justice, received visits from 7 thousand people

Manaus (AM) – The end of the Christmas cultural program at Largo de São Sebastião, Teatro Amazonas and Centro Cultural Palácio da Justiça (CCPJ) presented a varied program for the public who took the family to enjoy the festive season at the location this Saturday (23). The program started at 5pm.

The first performance was the dance show “Ocupa break”, by the group Nativos Crew. Afterwards, it continued with the Itinerant Christmas, which was in several neighborhoods and communities in the capital and in the interior, presenting the show “A Fantástica História do Biscuito de Natal” in Largo de São Sebastião, at 6pm, after the Christmas lights were turned on. .

Then, on the main stage, the musical “The Prince of Egypt” was presented at 7pm. The fourth edition of the Christmas Parade, which enchants people of all ages, especially children, with the passage of Santa Claus’ procession, accompanied by a brass band, occupied the four corners of Largo, at 7:50 pm. Closing the program, singer Elisa Maia performed at 8pm.

Housewife Júlia Maiane Marques Duarte went with her husband and three children to check out the last day of Largo de São Sebastião’s programming, and said she was delighted with what she saw.

“It’s our first time at Christmas here in Largo this year. It’s incredible, everything is beautiful. The tree is different. It’s very pretty. I am delighted and the children are loving the presentations”,

said Julia.

Amazonas Theater and CCPJ

At Teatro Amazonas, the concert “O Encanto de Natal” held its last performance, featuring Christmas songs performed by the Balé Folclórica do Amazonas (BFA). In addition to BFA, the Amazonas Filarmônica, the Amazonas Choir, the Amazonas Guitar Orchestra and the soloists Cella Bártholo, Carol Martins, Elane Monteiro, Enrique Bravo, Luiz Carlos, Jessyca Paiva and Luziene Lins also participated in the show. Conducted by Otávio Simões and Davi Nunes.

Cella Bártholo, one of the invited soloists, said she was happy to have been invited to be part of the cast of the “O Encanto de Natal” concert. “I am very happy to be here. I thank Secretary Marcos Apolo for the invitation. I sang a beautiful song that talks about Peace, about Jesus. A Merry Christmas to everyone,” she said.

At the Palácio da Justiça Cultural Center, the Santa Claus Factory, one of the season’s biggest hits, also said goodbye to the public, having been visited by more than seven thousand people.

At Casa das Artes, the nativity scene exhibition “A Night of Hope” has already been visited by more than 13 thousand people. It is worth remembering that the exhibition continues until January 6, 2024, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 5 pm to 9 pm. The Christmas decorations at Largo de São Sebastião are also still up, with all their lights until January 6, 2024.

Beyond the capital

For the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy Marcos Apolo Muniz, the Amazonas Government’s assessment of the Christmas season is very positive. “It was a program that spread throughout Amazonas, not only here in Largo de São Sebastião, not only at Teatro Amazonas, but we went to the Integral Education Centers to talk, play and bring joy to children in public schools”, said the secretary.

He recalls that the program was also at the Palace of Justice with the Fábrica do Santa Claus, at Galeria do Largo, with an exhibition of nativity scenes and in various neighborhoods and communities, with the traveling Christmas.

Marcos Apolo also highlighted that the Amazonas Government’s Christmas extended to the interior of the state. “We were in Iranduba, we were in Parintins, in Envira and in other municipalities both through the broadcast of our activities and by carrying out in-person Christmas programming in some of them”, he declared.
