The school has a complete and international structure to welcome students

Manaus (AM) — With the aim of stimulating skills and placing the student as the protagonist of their history, Centro Educacional Século invests in innovation, technology and differentiated pedagogical methods in Manaus. For this, the school has a modern structure with an international standard, which mixes teaching and innovation, always aligned with education 5.0, based on projects that enhance learning, preparing students for the future.

For the director of the institution, Fábio Veras, the teaching unit is one of the only ones, if not the only one, with a complete and international structure to welcome students, parents and teachers, it is a school that forms leaders.

“We are a complete school that offers the best proposal, and aims at the future of the student, from entrepreneurship to socio-emotional intelligence, we propose to offer a 5.0 education, associating new methodologies in the way of teaching and evaluating, preparing the student to become future leaders ”,

emphasizes Veras.

The classrooms have a differentiated formation, where the table is in a “V” shape and the chairs are arranged in such a way that no student is left without the teacher’s attention. The school also has extracurricular activities such as dance, theater, judo, music, futsal, among other sports.

The Educational Center also offers a modern robotics laboratory fully equipped with a 3D printer and other state-of-the-art equipment, all for the student to be better prepared for adult life.

To complement and bring more quality oral and mental health to students, Século inaugurated, on March 15, the dentistry and psychology rooms. The new rooms intend to offer a differentiated environment dedicated to the institution’s students.

Dentist Patrine Sousa believes that the school is the ideal environment to start oral health programs, as it is where children of suitable ages are found to adopt educational measures. She also explains that the project at school must be developed in two stages.

“The first stage of the educational project on oral health in the Century will be carried out with lectures to make students and, consequently, parents aware of the factors that cause dental caries, in order to guide a healthy diet, oral hygiene techniques and habits preventive. The second stage will be in the office, in case the student needs a procedure, such as fluoride application. The procedures are not invasive, they are only preventive”,

explains.

The psychology room has the presence of psychologist Julisete Soutelo, who explained that applied psychology at school will serve as support for students, especially during periods that make them more apprehensive, such as exams, for example.

“We are going to help these students, and also those who already suffer from anxiety and those who have a disability, helping to include them in the school environment. Therefore, this new space will be extremely important, as Século is concerned both with quality education and with the mental health of our students. We believe that the child, being well emotionally, will probably learn better”,

The school also offers as an extracurricular activity the English course “Do you speak English?”, which brings a total proposal different from other courses or even from what is taught in the classroom. Teacher Maria Luana explained that the activities are different from the norm, making them more interesting for the students.

“We do dynamics, games, conversation and among other things. We put the students to really speak the language, since many are preparing to study abroad”,
