This week, the TCU (Federal Audit Court) launched a notice to hire technology that will allow 10,000 remote inspections to be carried out over the next five years.

According to the president of the court of accounts, Bruno Dantas, the tool will enable external control without the need for the auditor to travel. Whenever any irregularity in the execution of works, for example, is identified, the TCU will be alerted.

The idea is to save time on inspections and reduce costs. Paving and sidewalk works that use federal resources will be the focus of inspections in the first stage.

Individuals and startups can participate in the notice, alone or in a consortium.

The notice, created with the collaboration of 20 private companies between the end of last year and January this year, provides for the hiring of up to three bidders through CPSI (Public Contract for Innovative Solution).

Proposals will be received until May 2 and the result should be announced by mid-July.
