The Amazon Court of Auditors has been on recess since December 23rd
The Amazonas Court of Auditors (TCE-AM) resumes, from this Friday (12), all its normal activities. The Amazon Court of Accounts has been in recess since December 23rd, with only some sectors in partial operation.
During this period, the new management of the Court, under the leadership of president-advisor Yara Amazônia Lins, had a special focus on modernizing the electrical installations of the buildings that make up the Court’s headquarters, aiming for better energy efficiency in the Court of Auditors.
In addition to preventive maintenance actions, such as replacing old sockets, light bulbs, among others, a notable change is the implementation of independent air conditioning systems in all facilities, providing greater thermal comfort for employees. This approach replaces the old central air conditioning model, providing more adaptable and pleasant environments for carrying out activities.
According to the head of the Maintenance Division (Diman), Denilson Hirata, the use of new inverter air conditioners will guarantee better operation combined with cost savings.
“We mainly removed the old ‘rooftops’, which were old air conditioners, some with up to 20 years of use, and replaced them with inverters, which are excellent in efficiency, generating savings on the electricity bill”,
he said.
With updated electrical installations, TCE-AM is now able to receive medium and large equipment, providing a favorable environment for the development of court activities.
The adjustments join forces with previous actions already existing at the Court of Auditors, including the use of the solar panel park to energize, through clean energy, a large part of the Court’s sectors, generating savings for public coffers.
