Tattoo described by woman made Daniel Alves admit there was sex

One of the tattoos that the Brazilian Daniel Alves has in the abdomen became a crucial point for the player to admit that he had sexual relations with the 23-year-old who accuses him of rape in the bathroom of a Barcelona nightclub on December 31. He denies the aggression and says the relationship was consensual.

According to published this Monday (23) the Spanish newspaper The world, the victim told the judge on Friday that, at the moment she was forced to perform oral sex, she saw a crescent-shaped tattoo in the area between her abdomen and genitals. She said that the tattoo was very visible during the time that she refused to practice the act.

Alves gave his testimony on Friday after the woman’s statements. Until then, according to the newspaper, he maintained that he had not had sexual relations. He would have been in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet, when she came in and pounced on him.

The judge then questioned how it would be possible to see that tattoo if he was sitting down. The question made Alves change his version and admit that he got up when she entered. Minutes later, he admitted that he had sex with her.

These version changes were one of the reasons why Judge Maria Concepción Canton Martín ordered preventive detention without bail. Since then, Alves has been in the Brians prison complex, which is on the northwest outskirts of Barcelona.

The Brazilian spent three nights in the module reserved for detainees in the process of entry and, this Monday morning, he was transferred to another module.

According to the player’s team, the defense prepared an appeal so that Alves can wait for the end of the investigations in freedom.
