The governor of São Paulo Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) sanctioned the bill that prohibits the requirement of proof of vaccination against Covid-19 as a condition for access to public and private places in the state. The decision was published this Wednesday (15) in the State Official Gazette.

Bill 668/2021 is authored by different parliamentarians, including Janaina Paschoal (PSL), Altair Moraes (Republicans), Marta Costa (PSD), Delegate Olim (PP), Carlos Cezar (PSB), Castello Branco (PSL ), Colonel Nishikawa (PSL) and Colonel Telhada (PP).

On his social network, the governor said, this Wednesday morning, that he was immunized against the coronavirus and defends the importance of vaccination, but also defends freedom. “We will reinforce awareness campaigns and ensure that doses are made available to everyone,” he said.
