Taekwondo from Amapá continues to win medals at the Brazilian School Games (JEB’s) 2023, and this time it was the boys who took the podium. In total, two silver medals were won.
The first was won by José Silva, from Escola Estadual Prof. Nanci Nina Costa, in the Bronze series. The second medal came from athlete Vinícius Júnior, from Escola Estadual Lauro Chaves, in the silver series.
The medals join three others (one silver and two bronze), which were won, in the sport, on Thursday (02), with Maria Paula Andrade, Ana Beatriz Carvalho and Elizabeth Portugal.
With these more achievements, Amapá has 17 medals (one gold, 10 silver and six bronze) and expects to win more by November 9th, the date that ends the Brazilian School Games (JEB’s). The event is a qualifier for the South American Championships, which will take place in December in Chile.
