A T1 Kids & Teen holds, this Saturday (01), at 9:30 am, the 2nd Internal Championship of the sport in honor of the World Autism Awareness Day. Teachers Uriel Tito and Diana Moraes are responsible for the championship.
“The championship was created last year (2022) on World Autism Awareness Day as a way to honor our students and raise this flag”said the teacher Diana Moraes.
In all, 42 children, aged 6 to 14 years, are enrolled in the competition, among them students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (TEA). The event will start on time and each athlete can take up to two companions. If the number of people is greater, a fee of R$5 will be charged.
The Jiu-Jitsu School T1 is located at Av. Almirante Barroso, 1180, Santa Rita, attached to Academia KS Infinit, and currently has 70 typical, autistic and ADHD children, aged 3 to 15 years. Professor Diana works on the technical part of fighting and Professor Uriel takes on the playful part, motor coordination and social interaction, as he specializes in working with autistic people.
