suspected atypical case and millionaire loss
[ad_1]
– The problems with Brazil’s trade agreement with China and the millionaire damage caused by the suspicion of mad cow disease are the subjects of this episode of the 15 Minutes podcast.
*) For now it’s just a mere suspicion, which has everything to be a “false alarm”. But damage is now almost a certainty.
We are talking about the possible case of mad cow disease identified in the state of Pará.
This mere suspicion interrupts indefinitely the export to China of 520,000 animals per month, at an average turnover of US$ 676 million. The duration of this interruption will depend on the Chinese.
And that’s where the problem lies: the terms of the trade agreement between Brazil and China, sewn in 2015, in the government of former president Dilma Rousseff (PT).
With the intention of opening up the Chinese market, certain conditions were accepted that are not required of any other Asian trading partner.
The problems of this agreement and the millionaire damage caused by the suspicion of mad cow disease in Brazil are the subjects of this episode of the 15 Minutes podcast. the guest is Marcos Tosi, Agribusiness editor at Gazeta do Povo.
