Students who live in cities affected by heavy rains in the state of Paraná will be able to request a reapplication of the National High School Exam. The decision was a response from the Ministry of Education after the state government requested the ministry to postpone the test. The deadline to request a new test will be between November 13th and 17th.
According to a note from Inep released by the government of Paraná, the institute will maintain the original date of the test, which is scheduled to take place on the 5th and 12th of November. The body also informed the possibility of requesting the test to be reapplied in the case of disadvantaged students.
The reapplication request must be made on the Enem website, where there will be a specific tab for the application. According to Inep, requests will be evaluated individually and if there is proof of impediment due to environmental incidents, the candidate will be able to take the tests on December 12th and 13th.
Such as People’s Gazette showed that at least 57 municipalities were affected by heavy rains and that around 30,000 properties were damaged in recent weeks. Civil Defense pointed out that more than 2 thousand people remain homeless or homeless. The most affected municipalities were União da Vitória, Prudentópolis, Cascavel, Campina da Lagoa and Rio Brando do Sul.
