Student from Amazonas reaches a score of 1000 in the Enem essay

Manaus (AM) – The National High School Examination (Enem) is the gateway to higher education institutions, both public and private universities in Brazil. For this, it is necessary to obtain a good score in the test and especially in the essay.

Luiz Henrique Nogueira, 18, from Amazonas, has no need to worry since he reached a score of 1000 in the Enem 2022 essay. The result of the test was released last Thursday (9) and is available for consultation on the Participant’s Page.

“Since I identify a lot with the area of ​​technology, my goal is to get approved in the Computer Engineering course”, reveals Luiz Henrique, who has not yet decided which institution he will enroll in the Unified Selection System (Sisu), a Ministry of Education (MEC) which selects students through the Enem score.

Luiz’s preparation began in 2019 when, on his own, he started taking the Enem tests to test his knowledge. At that time, he even reached 670 in the newsroom. In 2022, he entered the Vector Center for Studies and began to have the support of the course’s pedagogical team.

And the writing training made all the difference for the student’s evolution. He believed he was prepared for the topics covered in the tests was also essential to achieve the result.

“For that, having a repertoire is essential, having knowledge of the world, and that’s not difficult, we have several reliable sources of information, books, magazines and documentaries”, comments the student from Vetor.

His tip for those who are starting the journey of preparing for the tests is to know how to reconcile the routine.

“It’s no use spending hours and hours of the day studying, you also need to reserve moments of the day to do what you like and take care of yourself. That’s how you get there”, points out Luiz Henrique.

Writing note 1000

According to the writing and Portuguese language teacher at the Vector Center for Studies, Augusto César, for a student to achieve a grade 1000 essay, he needs to have knowledge of text structure.

“Many students make the mistake of thinking they have to guess the topic that will be on the test, but it’s no use if they don’t know how to build a text”, evaluates the teacher.

He explains that a 1000 grade essay has a good introduction, a text development with good arguments, and a conclusion that has an intervention proposal that solves the problem that was asked. In addition, it is necessary to have a sociocultural repertoire that is in accordance with the requested theme.

“And, above all, knowledge of grammar, such as knowing how to use graphic accents, backticks and commas. All of this influences the grade of the newsroom”, emphasized Augusto César.

Registration for Sisu is scheduled to take place between the 16th and 24th of February. To apply, students need to have taken Enem 2022 and not have zeroed in the essay.

Those interested must register on the website where they can choose up to two course options. The Sisu result is expected to be released on February 28.
