State Court delivers sports items to benefit children and teenagers from Vale do Jari – News of Brazil

The State Coordination of Children and Youth of Justice of Amapá (CEIJ/TJAP), under the management of judge Gilberto Pinheiro, and the 3rd Court of General Jurisdiction and Children and Youth of the District of Laranjal do Jari, headed by judge Antônio José de Menezes, carried out, on Thursday morning (19), at the city Forum, the delivery of sports materials for social projects promoted by Associations and Institutes located in Vale do Jari. The magistrate who coordinates CEIJ/TJAP was, at the time, represented by the unit’s employees, Élcio Ferreira and Ana Beatriz.
The delivery distributed: 144 mats; eight punch-trimming gauntlets; 19 kick guards; 198 mouthguards; 30 muay thai gloves; 80 Society boots; 27 soccer cleats; 80 pairs of football socks; six society balls; and two timers (totaling 594 items). The investment totaled around R$64,000 in resources from the Children and Youth Courts Support Fund (Fajij) and will benefit more than 250 children and adolescents.
In the afternoon, the CEIJ/TJAP team visited the four benefited Social Projects (Jari no Tatame Institute/Martial and Social Assistance Arts Project, Tigres do Karate Association/Project, Guardian Angels Association/Project and Associação Amigos do Sport/Project Preparing for Life) and witnessed the presentations of Children and Adolescents.
According to judge Antônio Menezes “the material arrived at a good time to give a boost to social projects in the municipality of Laranjal do Jari. Our social projects for children and youth are lacking, especially in terms of material resources, and help like this from Fajij brings a lot of joy and hope for the future of our children and youth.”
The judge explains that projects and children are selected according to the lack of financial resources of those served. “It is a great satisfaction to be able to contribute to the physical and emotional growth of our children and youth in our municipality, especially this most vulnerable population”he concluded.
For server Élcio Ferreira, it was a joy to participate in the delivery of sports materials on behalf of judge Gilberto Pinheiro, in partnership with judge Antônio Menezes. “We are very happy, because many materials were delivered to the projects and in the next phase we will complement them with more sports materials that have not yet been purchased”registered.
