Docket, legaltech (as startups in the legal area are called) claims to have unlocked BRL 50 billion in the last five years through its platform for companies seeking financing in the market.
Using artificial intelligence tools, the startup searches for the required documents, pre-analyses the paperwork, which involves certificates and licenses.
Initially, the business is centered on companies: construction companies interested in obtaining financing for the Minha Casa Minha Vida works, for example, and farmers who target credit linked to the Safra Plan.
The robots employed can search over 200 types of public documents and analyze the data. According to Docket, this work reduces the average waiting time for credit approval by up to 80%.
Docket was founded in 2016 by Flavio Castaldi, Pedro Roso, and Rodrigo Lopes. In 2018, it began operating in the B2B market and received investments from funds such as Kaszek Ventures, Valor Capital, ONEVC, Canary, Wayra, Gerdau Next Ventures and Bradesco.
