Leader in the North region, Grupo Nova Era bets on the growth of autonomous stores

In the first five months of the year, the group, which already had a unit in this format, opened six more, installed in condominiums in Manaus

Manaus (AM) – The autonomous store market, where the customer is the protagonist of the purchase process, begins to expand in the North region. Grupo Nova Era, the largest wholesale and distribution network in the region and fourth in the ranking of the largest in Brazil in the self-service wholesale modality, in the ABAD/Nielsen 2023 ranking, has been expanding its operations in the segment, with the Lutti by Pátio brand.

In the first five months of the year, the group, which already had a unit in this format, opened six more, installed in condominiums in Manaus. The forecast is to inaugurate five more stores until the month of August. The autonomous stores of the Nova Era Group have a partnership with the startup Lutti.

Depending on the choice of development, the stores may carry the name of one of the brands that are part of the company, Pátio Gourmet and Pronto +. In the coming months, the condominiums that will gain an autonomous store are: Concept, Vida, Marina Rio Bello, Ephigênio Salles and Reserva Inglesa.

The founder and CEO of Lutti, Paulo Victor Holanda, points out that 2023 is a year of expansion in the format of autonomous stores that carry the brands of the Nova Era Group in their names.

“The first unit was inaugurated in 2021 and has achieved excellent results. During this period, we were able to further improve the model, to deliver a quality and efficient service to customers”,

he said.

According to him, customers’ adherence to this business model was surprising and the demand for condominiums has exceeded expectations.

“I believe that the convenience and offer of a mix of products that meet different needs, in addition to the adoption of efficient technology, is what makes the difference”,

stated.

In this supermarket model, the customer is responsible for the entire shopping experience, that is, he goes to the unit, chooses the product and completes the order in a quick, practical way, having technology as his main ally. The whole process is done in an individual and personalized way, according to your needs.

The Nova Era Group is present in the capitals of the states of Amazonas, Rondônia and Roraima. The brands Superatacado Nova Era, with 17 stores, Pátio Gourmet, with 03 units, and Barato e Pronto, neighborhood supermarkets with 7 establishments, are part of the network. The network also has the Teu Card, the group’s own card.

The Nova Era Group has been operating in the North for 41 years. For two consecutive years, it has remained the largest wholesaler and distributor in the region, according to the ABAD/Nielsen 2023 ranking. The ranking is organized by the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (Abad) and takes into account the companies’ revenues in the base year 2022. In the case of Nova Era, the data that places it in this position is the turnover achieved of R$ 2.32 billion, last year, encompassing only the 10 units of Superatacado, installed in Manaus.
