Starts final phase of the Amapaense Absolute Chess Championship 2022 – News of Brazil

The Chess Federation of Amapá (FEXAP) started, this weekend, the Final Phase of the XVII Amapaense Absolute Chess Championship – CAXA 2022. Due to several reasons, the final phase had to move to 2023.
Six players, including the 2021 Absolute Amapaense Champion, Hualason Machado, compete in the tournament that takes place in the Round Robin system (all against all) in two shifts, totaling 10 rounds.
The other participants were classified based on three stages previously carried out and which made up the 1st Phase of the competition.
The game rhythm is 90min + 30sec from the 1st move. The matches take place at Clube de Xadrez Haroldo Franco, located at 3ª Avenida dos Congos, n° 1537.
The Tournament will be valid for the calculation of Rating FIDE (International Chess Federation) and CBX (Brazilian Chess Confederation).
