A political group that has existed for 40 years, initially called the Youth Party (PJ), but over time successively changing its name, today Agir36, in Amapá, has sportsman Augusto César dos Santos Pantoja as its main leader.
César Pantoja, as he is better known, is the current president of the Amapá Futsal League (LFA), graduated in Physical Education. The LFA has 102 affiliated clubs and more than nine thousand members, including athletes, managers and coaching staff.
Originally from the PJ, before arriving at Agir36, the party was once called the National Reconstruction Party (PRN) and later became PTC (Christian Labor Party)
As PRN, Agir36 managed to directly elect the first Brazilian president after the succession of military governments – Fernando Collor de Melo, who resigned while facing impeachment proceedings.
According to César Pantoja, Agir36 seeks to compose its group of representatives with inspiring leaders, capable of keeping people aligned, focused, collaborative, with empathy as the true transformative tool in Brazilian society.
The party’s battle flag is inclusion, justice and equity for people with disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, as well as people with Down syndrome, Paralympic athletes and everyone who yearns for social equality.
