Spartacus MMA 31 is marked by victory of veteran and guillotines

Almost seven years after his last fight in Brazil, Elias Silvério returned to Brazilian soil, and with a victory. The veteran beat Elder “Bebê Monstro” by unanimous decision in the main event of Spartacus MMA, held last Saturday at Spartacus Arena, in São Paulo.
Passing through the UFC, Elias Silvério spent 2016 to 2022 working in Russia, where he won four of the 11 fights he fought, in addition to having a draw – and some very controversial decision losses. At the age of 36, he showed last weekend that he still has firewood to burn.
Speaking of a veteran, Bruno “Beirute”, who was one of Elias Silvério’s first opponents in MMA, back in 2011, also won his fight at Spartacus MMA. The experienced fighter got the better of Peruvian Fernando Noriega with a guillotine choke in the third round of the dispute.
Except the main fight, all the others were defined by fast track. In addition to three by knockout or technical knockout, four ended by submission, three of them by guillotine choke, which, curiously, was the same move used by Jon Jones in last Saturday’s victory, proving that this was the guillotine choke weekend.
