Spaghetti with mushrooms is easy for Valentine’s Day – 05/06/2023 – Recipes by Marcão

In a week it’s Valentine’s Day. A day of monumental queues at restaurants — in terms of a boring program, they are second only to cars in the motel’s congestion.
Despite this, I am against cooking on Valentine’s Day. Dinner itself is a sidekick, and garlic-smelling fingers don’t help the romance. The best solution, even better, is to buy some food in advance.
Turns out this is a revenue column, and I can’t pull from my work. Let’s go with a recipe for lovebirds, then.
A homemade Valentine’s dinner must meet certain requirements.
The most important thing is not to be heavy food. Mocotó, oxtail, feijoada, chicken, roast suckling pig, leave those things for another occasion.
Nor is it wise to choose time-consuming recipes. Valentine’s night is only one, and a dinner that takes time to leave can ruin the couple’s timing.
I propose a quick dinner to prepare, easy to digest and that looks special. It has to be delicious too.
It’s reasonably easy to achieve this effect with a magic ingredient: pasta.
For a pasta with a chic look, let’s go with mushrooms. A spaghetti with a creamy sauce of two mushrooms — fresh and dehydrated.
The fresh mushroom can be champignon, portobello, shitake or a mixture of them. As for the dry, I think it’s worth investing a little money in Italian porcini — their flavor is incomparable. Chilean dried funghi will do the trick.
Finally, the variations to make the recipe inclusive – after all, everyone wants to date and eat.
For vegans and lactose intolerants, the solution is to replace the cream with a spoonful of miso (be careful with the dose, it is a very salty product).
In the gluten-free version, you can use rice noodles. There are great Thai and Chinese pastas in the eastern markets.
Heart of palm pasta? I don’t know, I’ve never tried. He says there are people he loves.
By the way, it is obvious that each couple (trisal, tetrasal, etc.) has their preferences and quirks. If the parties involved think it’s ok to eat garlic and oil pizza, fine.
