Sisu opens registrations on January 22nd – 12/29/2023 – Education

Registration for Sisu (Unified Selection System) will open on January 22nd. For the first time, the selection process will only take place at the beginning of the year and will not have a second edition in June.

According to the notice published this Friday (29) in the Official Gazette of the Union, interested parties must register between the 22nd and 25th of January.

Sisu is the main gateway to federal universities in the country. Last year, for example, the selection process made 226,399 places available in 118 public institutions.

This is the first time that candidates will have only one date to register. Since its creation in 2010, Sisu has been open twice a year, at the beginning of each semester. However, the federal government assesses that there is no relevant demand in the second round. Therefore, he chose to extinguish it.

Sisu allows students to apply to public universities in different regions of the country using their Enem scores. According to the notice, candidates can apply for up to two vacancy options. However, it is not permitted to compete in more than one type of competition for the same course and shift.

There is competition for broad competition and reservations for quota holders based on financial situation or race.
