Sisu 2023: MEC announces result and opens waiting list – 06/27/2023 – Educação

The result of the regular call for the second edition of Sisu 2023 (Unified Selection System) was released this Tuesday (27). The edition had 305,797 subscribers. The result can be consulted on the program’s website.

Enrollments must be made from June 29th to July 4th.

In this edition of the selection process, according to the MEC (Ministry of Education), 51,277 vacancies are offered in 1,666 undergraduate courses, from 65 higher education institutions, which signed the term of adhesion to Sisu.

In all, 578,781 enrollments were registered for courses offered in this edition. The number is the sum of the options that applicants selected to compete in the selection process, as candidates can select up to two course options.

The student must seek information about the calls for the waiting list from the institution for which he/she has applied. Calls are made by each institution, according to its planning. The information must be in the public notice and on the website of the higher education institution.

WAITING LIST

Candidates who were not selected in the regular call have until July 4th to express interest in joining the waiting list.

The student may express interest in the waiting list in only one of the courses for which he/she opted to apply in his Sisu registration. The call for the waiting list will be made from July 10th, through the program’s website.

Sisu brings together all vacancies made available by public institutions of higher education in Brazil, especially those offered by federal institutions. The system is managed by the MEC. The system selects students based on the Enem (National High School Examination) score. Candidates are selected according to their options, in order of highest classification, in each of the two annual editions of Sisu, up to the limit of vacancies offered, by course and type of competition.
