Programming includes dance, theater, music and other arts, offering entertainment for all ages
Manaus (AM) – Teatro Amazonas released the performance schedule from the second half of November. The shows run from the 14th to the 29th of this month. The programming is diverse and offers entertainment for all ages.
On the 14th and 15th of November, starting the second fortnight’s programming, the Corpo de Dança do Amazonas presents the prestigious show “Caput”. The performance starts at 8pm on both days, and is free, with entry completely free.
On November 16th, at 8pm, the Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra and the Basses do Coral do Amazonas present “Sinfonia 13 – Babi Yar”, a concert where classic repertoires by Jean Sibelius and Dmitri Shostakovich will be played. Entry is free and the rating is for people over 10 years old.
On Saturday, the 18th, the Theater will host the play “Alice in Wonderland”, produced by the Associação Belas Artes do Amazonas (Belarte). Classification is free for all audiences and tickets can be purchased through the website www.shopingressos.com.br.
On the 19th, the Interarte Theater School presents the 2023 Show in three sessions, at 9am, 1pm and 6pm. The artists will present their work at the end of an 8-month process, with Theater, Singing and Musical Theater performances for all ages. On November 20th, Amazonas Band brings the show “A Grande Música Negra”, at 8pm. The show represents African heritage in contemporary popular music, including rhythms such as samba, jazz and soul. Entry is free and the duration is 1h20.
On Tuesday, the 21st, the programs “Forrozin” and “For a better world” will come together to guarantee entertainment for the whole family. Presented respectively by the Dance Center and the Liceu Cláudio Santoro Children’s Choir, the shows take place from 8pm, with a 10-minute break. Entry is free and free for all ages.
On November 22nd, the date on which Musician’s Day is celebrated, the Amazonas Filarmônica presents a series of “Orchestral Successes”, playing brilliant and captivating works from the symphonic repertoire and aiming to pay homage to the profession. The show takes place at 8pm and entry is free, with an age rating for people over 10 years old.
On Friday, November 23rd, at 8pm, the Teatro Amazonas stage welcomes singer and composer Eliana Printes. The Amazon native will present the show “Abraço” together with her band, a first for her career. Tickets can be purchased on the website www.shopingressos.com.br.
On Saturday, the 25th, Ateliê 23 brings another edition of the prestigious show “Cabaré Chinelo”, taking place in two sessions at 7pm and 9:30pm. The play is rated for people over 18 years old, and tickets can be purchased through the website www.shopingressos.com.br.
On November 28th, at 8pm, the Grupo Teatral Criando Cenas presents the show “Amazonas – Causos, Lendas e Costumes da Nossa Gente”. With admission open to the public, the piece portrays the riverside experience and indigenous culture and reinterprets the main Amazonian legends, in addition to portraying famous Amazonian stories such as The Phantom of the Tropical Hotel.
Closing the program, Casa de Artes Trilhares presents the 10th Cultural Exhibition, which features presentations by students taking arts courses at the Cultural Space, bringing the result of a whole year of learning. The exhibition takes place on Wednesday, the 29th, and has four sessions at 3:30 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Tickets are available on the website www.shopingressos.com.br.
