Shopping de Manaus will have a Carnival dance for children and pets, this Saturday and Sunday

Manaus (AM) – This Saturday (10th) and Sunday (11th) there is a special Carnival program at Amazonas Shopping, including a carnival and a costume contest for little revelers and pets. The program always starts at 3pm.
Amazonas Shopping Marketing Manager, Ivanna Passos, highlights that the party is an opportunity for families and friends to get into the carnival atmosphere, to the sound of traditional marchinhas and lots of entertainment.
At the opening of the program, on Saturday (10), the gathering for the festivities will be at the mall’s Events Square, where a presenter will be on hand inviting customers to the party.
At 4pm, the Micaretinha, a carnival band, starts to liven up the atmosphere with traditional marches throughout the mall. Afterwards, revelers return to the Events Square and enjoy a magic show, games, among other activities.
At 6pm the first phase of the Kids Costume Competition begins. Registration, informs Ivanna Passos, is done instantly. “Just be prepared for the parade,” she emphasizes. The panel of judges will select those who will go to the final phase, the following day, competing for prizes. At 7pm there is the Pet Costume Competition. The animals will parade and also compete for prizes.
On Sunday (11) the revelry continues. The gathering, at 3pm, will be in the mall’s expansion area, with the presenter announcing the micareta route and inviting those present to join the route. The micareta starts at 4pm and at 4:30pm it returns to the concentration point, where it continues playing carnival marches until 5pm.
At 5pm the second and final phase of the Costume Competition begins, with the best chosen and prizes awarded. At 6pm, the event ends with another Pet Costume Competition and lots of entertainment.
Opening hours – Amazonas Shopping informs opening hours during Carnival. On Monday (12) the shopping center will open normally, with all operations open from 10am to 10pm.
On Carnival Tuesday, the 13th, the anchor stores and the Food Court will operate from 12pm to 9pm. The remaining stores and kiosks will open from 2pm to 9pm. The Carrefour supermarket will open at normal times, from 8am to 10pm, and the Smart Fit Academy, from 8am to 2pm.
On Ash Wednesday (14), all stores and restaurants in the Food Court will be open from 12pm to 10pm.
