The bottom of Group 1 of the Brazilian Series D Championship, Trem Desportivo Clube drew, away from home, with the vice-leader of the group, Águia de Marabá (PA) by 0-0 at Zinho de Oliveira Stadium, in Marabá. The match is valid for the eighth round of the competition.
With this result, Águia is parked in second place in Group 1 with 15 points in the competition. Trem, on the other hand, remains at the bottom of the competition with 05 points and is further away from qualifying for the next phase.
According to Trem’s physical trainer, Johnatan Silva, the competition for the Series D and Amapaense Championships is causing the athletes not to rest enough, hindering their performance on the field. “The logistics and the flight mean that we lose some of our rest, affecting our performance on the field. We are having less than 76 hours to recover these athletes”, he explained.
The team from Amapa is already in Macapá and will play against São Francisco (AC), for the ninth round of Serie D, at Estádio Zerão, at 4 pm, this Sunday (18).
