“Eating is Art” is a sensorial tasting that will shake up the space Paulistânia Desvairada in Conjunto Nacional, there at Avenida Paulista, 2073. There will be nine sessions that will promote the integration between scenic arts and gastronomy.

A five-course menu with dishes made with ingredients common to Brazilian tables served amidst artistic interventions such as music, video art, audiovisual, acting and literature.
The creator is professor, actor and gastronome Murilo Góes, from Projeto Macunaíma, in Vitória (ES). The sessions cost BRL 160 and will take place from July 14th to 16th (Friday to Sunday), and from July 20th to 23rd (Thursday to Sunday), always at 7 pm, and with two sessions at 1 pm (on the 15th and 16th). This Tuesday, July 11th, Ramen Day is celebrated and Jojo will receive chef Paulo Shin for a collaboration. Three commemorative dishes will be offered: Special Shin Ramen (R$ 68.00), with beef broth with dashi, tare and Korean gochugaru pepper and thinner noodles (photo); Jojo Beef Ramen (R$ 62.00), with beef broth, chashu with sweetened tare, and Chahan Jojo (R$ 42.00/R$ 52.00), fried rice in Jojo’s style, prepared in a wok, which you can come with chef Paulo Shin’s famous omelette. The event will take place in two units: Jojo Ramen (Rua Rafael de Barros, 262, Paraíso) and Jojo Lab (Rua Gandavo, 193, Vila Mariana), from 6 pm to 10 pm. Chef Paulo Shin will be present at the Paraiso unit. There will be no reservation system and service will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Chef Carla Pernambuco receives Cynthia Brant for two days of classes. A vegan cheese workshop (Saturday, 7/22) and an Ayurvedic cooking class (Sunday, 7/23). In the first class on Saturday, Cynthia will teach the production of molded vegetable milk cheeses, such as cheddar and spicy boursin; in the second class, the preparation of vegetable cheeses with mold will be presented, inspired by the French roquefort and camembert. On Sunday, the focus is on health care. The chef will teach you how to introduce healthy, healing recipes full of flavors into everyday life.
