January calls for news. And Curitiba and region are full of them. We have selected three new establishments in the city for you to enjoy the hot days – and nights – in different ways. For this Summer Tour of Good Gourmet We selected three locations that cater to different profiles and work at different times of the day. In common, they all offer special gastronomic experiences.

Superb Gastrobar
The meeting of Italian haute cuisine with Argentine parrilla; this is Soberbo Gastrobar’s proposal. In a spacious and welcoming space, it is ideal for gathering friends at the end of the day to enjoy time passing by without rushing. In summer, it offers fresh drinks and dishes to share, such as the traditional steak tartare. Among the main dishes, the good suggestions are the fettuccine with fresh mushroom ragu and the chorizo steak with demiglace, which bring an Italian touch without leaving aside the flavor of the Buenos Aires parrilla.
For dessert, the pavlova with fresh fruit and red fruit and passion fruit reduction is a good choice, especially if accompanied by a refreshing drink. One of the options on the menu is the Cereja Flor non-alcoholic drink, excellent for beating the heat. Installed in Água Verde, one of the city’s bohemian neighborhoods, the restaurant has two bars and a mezzanine, which can be reserved for events.

Alexandria Burger Santa Felicidade
The first all-you-can-eat smash burger franchise in Brazil, Alexandria Burger offers a good structure to enjoy with family or friends in the Santa Felicidade neighborhood. At an affordable price – from R$54.90 for an all-you-can-eat meal – customers are entitled to a board with eight flavors of smash burger. There are also kids and a la carte options on the menu.
The order fulfillment system is practical and technological; with a tablet, the customer can customize the carvery board with the flavors they want. In addition to burgers, there are also chicken portions, fries and desserts that include sweet snacks such as Banoffe, Ovaltine and Nutella with strawberry.
The restaurant also offers a wide range of drinks, whiskeys and draft beers, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Among the desserts, the highlights are açaí, ice cream and milkshakes, which are the customers’ favorites.

Paradise of the Sun Farm
If you are looking for a varied menu in the midst of nature, with a gentle breeze to cool off in the summer and an open space to entertain the children, the ideal place is Chácara Paraíso do Sol, in Campo Largo, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. The place has two gastronomic options: Bar 360º, which serves beers, drinks, shots, juices, snacks and portions during the day; and the Rauen Restaurant, open from 11 am, with an a la carte menu of individual dishes for lunch.
At the bar, portions range from traditional French fries to assorted pastries, tulips with garlic and oil, linguicinha and fried fish. The choripan sandwich, with grilled sausage, has house-made mayonnaise, crunchy farofa and vinaigrette. During the summer, on Saturdays, the Bar 360º serves crab, from 11 am to 5 pm, served with breaded fish, butter with capers, vinaigrette and fries.
For lunch, risottos, pastas, meats and seafood are served in individual portions at the Rauen restaurant, with the option of a kids dish (grilled tenderloin or chicken, accompanied by pasta in butter or rice).
In an area of 46,000 square meters, the complex also has spaces for children’s games, sports such as wakeboarding and float, restaurant, bar with panoramic views, mini farm and paintball field, among others.
Chácara Paraíso do Sol is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9am to 7pm. Individual tickets cost R$45 from Wednesday to Friday and R$50 on weekends.
