See list of CPIs filed at Alesp after confusion and three-day queue – 03/24/2023 – Power

After confusion between base and opposition deputies in the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo, the protocol of CPIs, made this Friday morning (24), followed the order of the queue installed three days earlier in the corridors of the House, which privileged allied parliamentarians Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) and President André do Prado (PL).
To avoid commissions that wear down the government, deputies from parties such as the PL, Republicans, PP and União Brasil filed CPI requests on various topics —such as Enel, Lojas Americanas, the increase in homeless people and financial pyramids.
CPIs are installed in the order they are filed, and only five can work at a time. In practice, 15 to 20 CPIs fit into a four-year legislature. Therefore, there is a race for a place in the queue — something that has become a tradition at Alesp.
The opposition, made up of left-wing parties such as PT, PSOL and PC do B, argues that the allied deputies had privileged information and, therefore, started the queue in advance. The PT went to court to question the queue.
